Metallica's Robert Trujillo will perform with Mass Mental at the Warwick Open Day 2014

What do mega groups Metallica and Skindred have in common? Mass Mental! The all star, all monster group was founded by Metallica’s Robert Trujillo formerly of Suicidal Tendencies and Skindred singer Clive “Benji” Webbe, formerly of Dub War. Also in the band since the beginning is Warwick Artist Armand Sabal-Lecco whose list of credits includes Stanley Clarke and Sting. In 1999 the band released “How to Write Love Songs”, along with the live album “Live in Tokyo”. Both albums were released exclusively in Japan. Shortly thereafter the band broke up, allowing the band members to return to their main projects. In 2002, Mass Mental reunited briefly with Roy Mayorga playing drums, although no new material resulted. Still, Robert Trujillo never really lost sight of his “baby”. Now Mass Mental has found its way back together and will be performing an exclusive reunion concert on on the Framus & Warwick Campus in Markneukirchen, Germany.
